A pledge campaign to help villagers purchase their post office and shop has reached more than £150,000 and has been so popular that organisers have extended the scheme. The Hoxne Community Post Office Group, led by resident Mike Barton, is trying to secure funds to take on the Low Street site when the current owner retires.
