Pupils at a Thatcham primary school have competed in some of the toughest athletic and cross-country competitions in the county. The 24 Francis Baily Key Stage 2 pupils competed at Bradfield College in an X-Country Race. It was a tough endurance race, where pupil Emily Allport finished second in her race out of 84. Jack Budge finished fifth in his race out of 81 and the star of the day was Ella McDonald who finished first in her Year 5 and 6 girls race. Overall Francis Baily positioned second out of 15 schools.
