Newcastle United’s injury problems refuse to go away, with Toon fans now worrying about Anthony Gordon. The 22-year-old did not reappear for the second half against Luton Town on Saturday, after asking Eddie Howe to come off after sustaining an ankle injury. He was seen limping as half time approached, and the pain was enough to end his afternoon. In fact, it was enough to ensure that he left St James’ Park on crutches whilst wearing a moon boot.
