Redmi released the G Pro 2024 gaming laptop in March this year with an i9-14900HX + RTX 4060 processor priced at 8,999 yuan (~$1250). Although this product is very powerful, many customers feel that the price-performance ratio is average. To make it more attractive, the company has released an i7-14650HX-based version that can still meet the performance requirements of most users.
Unfortunately, the company has not yet revealed the price of the new product. This new i7 version of the G Pro 2024 laptop will go on sale at 10 am on July 12 in its home country.
The new i7-powered machine still comes with the same 210W total power, 2.5K 240Hz display, and RGB backlighting on the keyboard and back. You can get a better idea of the design in the image below.
For those of you who don’t know, the Core i7-14650HX processor has 16 compute cores and 24 threads with an output power of 130W. The new version still boasts RTX 4060 graphics, which comes with 140W of performance. It is paired with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The display of this gaming laptop has a 16-inch diagonal, 3ms response time, and G-SYNC support. The panel reaches a peak brightness of 500 nits, supports 10-bit color depth, DC dimming, and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. You can also easily customize the RGB effect with a single key on this device.
