By Benjamin Lynch The pilot of a Boeing plane involved in a worrying incident said the brakes began to shake “violently” as they attempted to decelerate on the runway before the plane skidded off the tarmac. An initial report released by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said the pilot had disabled the autobrakes on the Boeing 737 Max before landing at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas.
