A suspected thief who hid from officers on the roof of a building has been arrested after being spotted by a police drone. The 18-year-old from London was spotted in Balfour Road, Chatham and was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police. Police first spotted a vehicle with false number plates driving in Strood just after 2am on February 29. After failing to stop it was found abandoned in Brenchley Close, Chatham.
