Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrida Šimonytė, during a telephone conversation with her Czech colleague Petr Fiala, stated that Lithuania has decided to join the Czech initiative to purchase and transfer artillery ammunition to Ukraine outside the EU. “This is a very important initiative, especially in this period, when the supply of ammunition to Ukraine has slowed down,” says Šimonytė.
