North Korea has fired multiple short-range ballistic missiles towards the East Sea, also known as the Sea of Japan, the South Korean military said on Tuesday. North Korea launched the missiles at about 7:30 am (2230 GMT Monday) from the western province of North Hwanghae, the South Korean news agency Yonhap reported, citing the general staff in Seoul (JCS).
