Guwahati (Assam) [India], June 5 (ANI): The flood situation in Assam has worsened, claiming seven more lives and taking the death toll to 25. Cyclone Remal has brought about intense rainfall in Assam, leading to widespread flooding. The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) reported that 5 people drowned in Cachar district, a woman died in Nagaon district, and a child died due to urban flooding in Kamrup (Metro) district on Tuesday.
