A man was left with a fractured jaw following a “homophobic” assault. It happened in Rochester High Street at the junction with Blue Boar Lane on Saturday, August 3. During the assault, which took place between 9.55pm and 10.10pm, a man reportedly used derogatory and homophobic language towards a man not known to him before punching the victim in his face. The victim sustained a fractured jaw which required surgery. Police have now released an image of a man who they believe can assist their investigation.
