Labour Party, which is Britain’s main opposition, looks set for a landslide election win, according to exit polls on Thursday. This will bring to an end 14 years of right-wing Conservative rule. It also puts Labour leader Keir Starmer on the verge of replacing Rishi Sunak as Prime Minister. After the polling stations closed at 10pm, the survey for UK broadcasters suggested Labour would win 410 seats in the 650-seat House of Commons.
