Ukraine has secured a $3.9 billion non-repayable grant from the United States through the World Bank, with the funds earmarked for salaries and social benefits, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. “These funds will help finance priority budget expenditures such as salaries for teachers, healthcare workers, and first responders, as well as social benefits,” Shmyhal said.
