The sports court of the German football federation (DFB) has rejected an appeal from RB Leipzig captain Willi Orban over a two-game suspension, the DFB said on Thursday. Orban saw a red card in the Bundesliga 1-0 win against VfL Bochum on August 24 for bringing down Myron Boadu in a denial of a clear goal-scoring opportunity. He already missed Leipzig’s 3-2 win at champions Bayer Leverkusen last weekend and will miss the game against Union Berlin on September 14 after the international break.
