Several hundred people have protested against a performance of Russian-born opera singer Anna Netrebko near Frankfurt, police said on Sunday. Some 400 demonstrators gathered near the State Theatre of the German state of Hesse in the city of Wiesbaden, just west of Frankfurt, for a peaceful protest on Saturday evening, according to a police spokesman.
