Tokyo stocks fell Wednesday morning, as expectations the yen will firm against the U.S. dollar dented exporters while financial stocks dropped on concerns over their earnings outlook. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 309.86 points, or 0.80 percent, from Tuesday to 38,527.60. The broader Topix index was down 32.24 points, or 1.16 percent, at 2,755.24.
