The global launch of the POCO M7 Pro 5G is expected soon, as the smartphone has appeared on the FCC website, which confirms the model number and nickname of the smartphone. As the name suggests, POCO M7 Pro 5G will replace POCO M6 Pro 5G.
POCO M7 Pro 5G spotted at the FCC
FCC documents show that the POCO M7 Pro 5G has the model number 2409FPCC4G. It also confirms that the smartphone will run on Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0 and will have NFC support.
The POCO M7 Pro 5G will come with 128 GB of storage, which could be the base model of the smartphone.
The listing also has live images of the phone revealing its front and back design. It looks quite different from the POCO M6 Pro 5G with a square camera module containing two sensors. In the previous model, the camera model was a large strip running from one corner to the other.
POCO M7 Pro 5G has a two-tone finish with a marble design in green. The phone is expected to be available in other color variants.
The FCC documents reveal an interesting speculation about the launch of the POCO M7 Pro 5G as a rebranding of the Redmi Note 14 5G. They state that both devices are identical except for the cameras. The Redmi Note 14 is said to have a triple camera setup on the back. It is also expected to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display and a 50-megapixel primary camera. The smartphone can run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset.
If the POCO M7 Pro 5G will be released as a rebranding of the Redmi Note 14, then we can expect the same specifications from both devices. Since the POCO M6 Pro 5G was launched in August last year, we can expect its successor to arrive in the near future.
