A car fire is causing gridlock on a busy commuter route. Fire crews arrived on the scene at the Brookfield Road entrance to the Matalan roundabout in Ashford just before 6pm after the car went up in flames. Queues are building around the area as firefighters tackle the blaze. Emergency services have been contacted for comment. More on this as we get it.
