Namibian vice president Nangolo Mbumba has been sworn in as the country’s new president after the death of former president and political giant Hage Geingob on Sunday. “I take on this heavy mantle, cognisant of the weight of this responsibility to serve all people of Namibia with utmost dedication and commitment,” Mbumba said during the swearing-in ceremony.
