Belgium’s long-serving defender Jan Vertonghen has retired from international football following the team’s last-16 exit at Euro 2024. Vertonghen, has played 157 times over 17 years for Belgium, scored an own goal in the 1-0 defeat ot France which ended the Red Devils’ tournament. “Thanks for all the memories, I lived my dream,” the 37-year-old wrote on Instagram on Friday.
