Srinagar: Officials reported that an ancient temple situated atop a hillock in the tourist destination of Gulmarg was engulfed in flames early Wednesday. The fire broke out in the Shiv Temple, also known as Rani Temple, before dawn. Despite efforts from both the police and locals, the temple could not be saved from the blaze. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
