Jury duty handed a Politico editor a series of inside scoops Monday when he was sent into the Washington D.C. courtroom of the federal judge who will be overseeing former President Donald Trump’s election interference case — to report for jury duty. According to writer Patrick Caldwell, Judge Tanya Chutkan described the election interference case for which he was being considered as a juror as “not the other one” — meaning it was a misdemeanor case for a suspected January 6 rioter, and ot the one involving Trump.
