Patrick Mahomes Sr. — the father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes — was arrested by Tyler, Texas police Saturday on suspicion of “driving while intoxicated, third or more,” according to Smith County online records. Per those records, bond for the elder Mahomes was set at $10,000 on Sunday afternoon. The 53-year-old Mahomes Sr., according to court records, had his second DWI charge in 2018.
