Ukrainian pilots currently undergoing F-16 fighter jet training in the United States are expected to complete their training by the end of 2024, a U.S. Defense Department spokesperson said in a press briefing on Jan. 4. “I would expect sometime later this year we start to see those pilots graduate,” said Brigadier General Pat Ryder, adding that it will take between five to eight months to complete the training, depending on an individual pilot’s skill level.
