Retired at last, after a very long working life as a retailer and farmer (sheep, cows, pigs, alpacas and goats), I am finally able to follow my other passion: art, writes Carol Knights. I put off joining an art group because I didn’t think I was good enough, but I found Bishop’s Stortford Art Society and realised it is for all abilities. Yes, some of the members are very accomplished, but most are just like me.
