Lophams’ Village Hall celebrated its monthly farmers’ market – still going strong after 23 years – on February 24. The market, held on the fourth Saturday of every month, is a food-only market selling produce from nearby suppliers and raising funds for the site. Mike Shipperlee, chairman of the village hall committee, said it had been a really good turnout to mark the anniversary.
