Improved sales boosted full-year profit in 2023 for British bakery chain Greggs PLC compared to 2022, the company reported on Tuesday. Greggs reported preliminary pre-tax profit of £188.3 million ($238.9 million) for the full year, higher than £148.3 million in the previous year. Excluding items, underlying profit before tax was up 13.1% at £167.7 million compared with £148.3 million a year ago.
