A fire at an apartment complex in Atlantic County claimed the life of one person and left others in the building without a place to stay, authorities said. The blaze in Buena Borough was reported at 8:40 p.m. Friday and took fire crews from three counties several hours to bring under the control, according to the Franklin Township Police Department in Gloucester County, which covers the town.
