Liberal Democrat Pippa Heylings has been elected as MP for South Cambridgeshire, winning the seat from the Conservatives. Ms Heylings, who has been serving as a South Cambridgeshire district councillor, earned 25,704 votes, beating Tory Chris Carter-Chapman, who secured 15,063.
