Shoppers have helped a charity by donating a whopping 569kgs of food to a collection drive. Tesco in Wisbech hosted volunteers from the town’s Foodbank on Friday (2) to help collect much-needed supplies to replenish their food stock. The team collected the 569kgs of food, which is the equivalent of 1,625 meals. A spokesperson for the Foodbank, which is based at the Baptist Church, on Hill Street, posted a thank-you on their Facebook page.
