German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said on Sunday that the latest expert forecasts still show a funding shortfall of around €5 billion ($5.5 billion) in the German government’s 2025 budget. However, there remains plenty of time for ministers to find a viable solution to the budget gap, Lindner said in an interview with public broadcaster ZDF.
