Flood alerts for the River Stort in Bishop’s Stortford and Stansted and the River Ash in the Hadhams have been issued after heavy rain overnight – and a more serious flood warning is in place for the Upper Cam from Newport to Littlebury. Just two days after Storm Henk’s heavy rain and high winds caused damage in the East Herts and Uttlesford area, levels have risen again on the Stort.
