A man has been arrested after being accused of threatening to “stomp” on a police officer’s head in the early hours. British Transport Police were called to Gravesend Railway Station at about 1am today. It came after reports a man was drunk and had been acting disorderly. He then reportedly refused to get off a train despite being asked. This allegedly caused the man to threaten “to stomp on the officer’s head”. It is also claimed he was swearing and spitting while police were in attendance. He was later arrested and taken into custody. BTP has been approached for more information.
