By Susie Beever Police have surrounded a hospital in Germany after a woman barricaded herself inside a room. Cops were called to Luisenhospital in Aachen following reports of a potential ‘hostage’ situation. Police in the city have now said a 65-year-old woman “barricaded herself” inside one of the rooms at the clinic before staff noticed smoke coming from where she was standing. A large police scene remained in place in the area surrounding the hospital on Monday evening.
