James Wild has been re-elected as the Conservative MP for North West Norfolk. The count got under way shortly before 2am, and Mr Wild – who was first elected in the constituency in 2019 – edged out Labour candidate Tim Leaver by just under 5,000 votes. Also fighting for the seat were Michael de Whalley of the Green Party, Rob Colwell of the Liberal Democrats and Phil Walton of Reform UK.
