A Mays Landing man has been charged with stabbing his landlord to death, authorities said. Michael Carney, 39, was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder and weapons offenses, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. Multiple 911 callers reported that someone was being stabbed at 798 Park Road, shortly before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Officers arrived and found the landlord, Solomon Lonner, 49, of Lakewood, inside the home, suffering from multiple stab wounds, officials said.
