The current Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, has become the only candidate for the position of IMF Managing Director for the next term, according to the IMF Executive Board statement. “The period for submitting nominations for the position of the next Managing Director closed on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
