Community members are supporting a campaign to create a new Library of Things. This type of facility allows residents to loan out items to fellow members of the community – and is becoming popular across the country. Newark town councillor Lisa Geary is one of the supporters of Newark Library of Things, alongside other councillors known to the town such as Barbara Corrigan and Lynn Roulstone. An online page has been created for people to show their support to the project, which promotes the sharing economy. If it gets enough signatures, it will go ahead as a virtual service to signpost people….
