Intel has released Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors that set a new standard for mobile artificial intelligence performance.

Intel said in a statement: “With the most efficient x86 processor family ever, Intel delivers exceptional performance, breakthrough energy efficiency, a huge leap in graphics performance, uncompromising application compatibility, and enhanced security. It’s everything users need to create, communicate, play, or learn on the go.”

Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors represent the latest evolution of AI computing. Through partnerships with leading independent software vendors, extensive ecosystem support, and more than 500 optimized AI models, computers powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors enable users to take full advantage of the benefits that AI has to offer.

The new processors will power the industry’s most comprehensive and powerful AI computers, including more than 95 consumer models from more than 25 leading global manufacturing partners, including Acer, ASUS, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, LG, MSI, and Samsung.

Pre-orders start today, and starting September 24, the systems will be available in more than 30 global retail stores and online. All models with Intel Core 200V Ultra Series processors and the latest version of Windows will be eligible for Copilot+ for PC as a free upgrade starting in November.

Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors have been designed with all of these features in mind, providing leadership in the low-power AI computing segment with up to 50% lower power consumption and total performance of up to 120 terabytes per second for the central processing unit (CPU), graphics processing unit (GPU), and neural processing unit (NPU) to ensure compatibility and performance for AI work across models and engines.

The fourth-generation NPU is 4 times more powerful than the previous generation and is ideal for running long AI workloads while remaining energy efficient. The industry-leading TOPS platform is implemented in more than 300 AI-accelerated features made possible by Intel’s collaboration with more than 100 integrated software vendors (ISVs) and developers through the AI PC Acceleration Program.

The new processors deliver efficient and exceptional core performance through fine-tuned power management, a completely redesigned performance core (P-core) architecture optimized for performance per unit of power per unit of area. And today’s most powerful Intel Efficient cores (E-core) are now able to handle more workloads while delivering cool and quiet performance.

The Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors mark the debut of Intel’s new Xe2 graphics microarchitecture, which delivers a significant leap in mobile graphics performance with an average performance boost of 30%. The Intel Arc embedded GPU includes eight new 2nd generation Xe cores, eight enhanced ray tracing units, support for up to three 4K monitors, and new Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (Intel XMX) AI engines with up to 67 TOPS performance that power creative applications and boost gaming performance with enhanced XeSS cores.
