NASCAR has handed down penalties stemming from Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Portland International Raceway, taggingKyle Weatherman with a $25,000 fine. Weatherman was fined for a violation of NASCAR’s code of conduct when he made contact with another vehicle on pit road after the race. According to the rulebook, intentionally damaging another vehicle on pit road is one of several actions that can result in the loss of 25-50 driver and/or team owner points and/or fines of $25,000-50,000.
