On a day where Leeds United needed to fly out of the blocks and make a real statement to stand any chance of going up automatically, it was alarming how meek Daniel Farke’s side proved to be against Southampton. Obviously, the fate of the Championship promotion race was out of Leeds’ hands by the time they kicked off on Saturday; victory would not have been enough for the Whites anyway. However, Leeds now go into the play-offs having won one and lost four of their last six games, and struggling to take any positives from the last couple of months.
