More than 1,000 families in Afghanistan’s central province of Ghor have been forced from their homes due to heavy rains and flooding in recent days, the country’s Ministry of Refugees said on Monday. The floodwaters destroyed homes and farmlands, leaving many with nothing, the ministry added.
