Sources in the Palestinian Islamist Hamas movement said Thursday there has so far been no breakthrough in mediation talks aiming to end the war in Gaza. “What has been offered by the mediators failed to reach what the movement is asking for, which is the permananet ceasefire and an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza,” Hamas sources close to the negotiations told dpa.
