The principal of an elementary school in Burlington County was arrested and charged with stealing money from the school, authorities said. Colleen Schroeder took $700 from the main office of Helen L. Beeler Elementary School in Evesham, township police said Monday. Schroeder, 46, of Hainesport, was already on leave for a reason unrelated to the alleged theft, Superintendent Justin Smith said in a statement.
