TAMPA, Fla. \- With Tropical Storm Milton looming in the Gulf of Mexico and threatening to bring inclement weather to the region, Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa are temporarily closing their Comfort Stations. The stations will close at 5:00 PM today, October 5th, until further notice. These Comfort Stations have been providing vital services to residents still recovering from the impacts of Hurricane Helene.
