A controversial application to regenerate an industrial estate to create a business campus has been officially approved. The Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government Angela Rayner decided not to call-in the decision made by Medway Council regarding the Chatham Docks industrial estate, so the approval has now been formalised. The planning committee had approved the application by Peel Waters for the Basin3 business campus in May.
