In the final stage of the AdventHealth 400, shortly after a caution, Bubba Wallace was part of a wreck that took out multiple drivers. The wreck started when Denny Hamlin‘s back bumper clipped the front of Austin Cindric‘s car, slowing Cindric down just a touch. Wallace was behind Cindric and got into his back bumper, sending Cindric into the wall hard. Wallace then got clipped from behind and spun out and several cars pin-balled off each other, including that of Michael McDowell.
