A 26-year-old woman living in Melbourne has posted on Reddit as she revealed her estranged father, who lives in New South Wales, appears to be legally classed as deceased, despite being very much alive. She discovered the mistake whilst trying to apply for a passport and has now been left wondering what to do, and whether it’s him ‘faking’ his own death or down to a clerical admin error.
