Over 100 people attended and helped raise thousands of pounds at a frog race. The race held at the Newark Showground raised £3,200 for Cancer Research UK. It was organised by the Rotary Club of the Vale of Belvoir and was considered a success as money was raised through ticket sales, racing, betting, sponsorship and a raffle.
