The deadly shooting near the Israeli consulate in Munich was an attempted terrorist attack, police and the public prosecutor’s office said on Thursday. The incident saw an 18-year-old Austrian shot dead by police after opening fire on five officers in the southern German city. No one else was hurt, the police said.
