Former Germany defender Mats Hummels has spoken to new Brighton coach Fabian Hürzeler about joining the Premier League side, broadcaster Sky reported on Tuesday. Hürzeler, 31, has joined Brighton after leading St Pauli to the Bundesliga and wants a German connection by bringing in the out-of-contract 35-year-old, the report added.
